Beautiful reproduction of this very rare license plate frame originally available at Shelby's Southern California dealership "Hi Performance Motors" in the 60's. Customers couldn't buy new Shelby's there because it wasn't technically a Ford Dealership. But they could buy Cobras, company cars or used Shelby's right from the factory dealership. Only a fraction of all the Cobras and Shelbys were sold through Hi Performance Motors, making these frames highly sought after and extremely valuable.
